Lovely client testimonials
When I have concerns about one of our horses, it’s a good excuse for me to have a catch up with Danee. One of the many things I love about this passionate horsewoman is that she sees the big picture. It’s about the feet, the gear, the teeth, nutrition, physiology, training, people and more….and there’s never any judgement. I know when I turn to Danee for advice on one of our horses, it’s going to be practical, to the point and well informed.
Danee Finckh is a very knowledgeable woman in the equine industry. She has helped us with a lot of complicated issues concerning horses —through both her “Horse Health 101” (first aid & basic horse care/management days) and her “Learn to Trim Your Own Horse” clinics
Danee is passionate about the equine nutrition. Danee understands the products she sells and can quickly comprehend what each horse needs within their diet. Danee then explains the products and their individual uses, for each specific horse, in depth.
Thank you Danee for everything you do and have done for our four legged friends.
Danee’s care was excellent and she was concerned that although the horses were in good condition, the supplement I was feeding was inadequate to compensate for our poor pasture (predominantly couch grass), and we needed to be mindful that 10 year old Smokey has had a previous laminitis episode and 4 year old Jasper was still in his growth stage. Both horses were also extra anxious for their feeds and Smokey was aggressive towards Jasper.
It has been such a unique & wonderful learning experience. Initially a very reactive, Jasper is now super calm and happy with everything that is asked of him. Each session has had a positive finish and I’m looking forward to our further progress. With Danee’s continued guidance, I know we will both shine.
About Me
I’m gunna be straight up with ya. I have no “formal” equine nutrition qualifications. I’ve learnt my trade, in the trenches, not out of a textbook.
What I do have is 2.5 degree’s (yes, I’m half way through my third….) & each has a significant percentage of its content was /is nutrition.
What I do have is 30yrs experience in managing ‘broken’ horses, in some of the most extreme conditions on the planet, for horses.
What I have been, is unbelievably fortunate to cross paths with some of the MOST influential horse folk of my generation.
What I was doing, was faithfully & diligently practising ALL the conventional wisdoms of horse care….NO EXPENSE SPARED! Yet all my own personal herd had serious & seemingly unresolvable issues. My client base of 200+ horses was rampant with issues that were simply not responding to conventional diet, management, or veterinary advice/care.
What I am endeavouring to do here, now, is ‘pay it forward’ by getting that incredible vault of knowledge & shared experience out to y’all, to each and every horse, that needs it.
So if you’re ready to:
- open your mind
- be observant
- push the boundaries of your comfort zone a bit
- re define “what you know”
- get amazing results…..
- & get it right, for the horse in your life….then ‘saddle up’ and let’s chat.
